3 Helpful things to consider

Is this for me?
If life generally feels full, demanding, or out of rhythm, this may be for you.
Stress coaching is a good fit if you want to feel clearer, steadier, and more in control.
It can help you pause, reset, protect your energy, strengthen your boundaries, and move forward feeling more like yourself.

Signs of excessive stress
Common signals you’ve been carrying too much, for too long.
Stress itself isn’t bad. It’s a natural part of being human, and in the right moments it can help us respond, focus, and keep going.
The problem is when stress doesn’t switch off… you have been carrying too much, for too long!
Common signs of excessive stress include: poor sleep, feeling tired but wired, headaches, digestive issues, palpitations, irritability, brain fog, low motivation, and finding it hard to relax.
For some people, stress shows up as overworking, overthinking, doomscrolling, people pleasing, or feeling emotionally flat.
Often, the biggest sign is that stress no longer feels temporary, it starts to feel normal.

Positive lasting growth
Understand the pressure. Change the pattern.
Coaching helps you step back and look clearly at what is driving your stress, where your boundaries are slipping, and what needs to change… it’s a breath of fresh air!
The aim is not to make you less ambitious or less caring. It is to help you feel calmer, think more clearly, protect your energy, and build routines, boundaries, and coping strategies that actually work in real life.
Over time, that usually means feeling more balanced, more present, and more like yourself again.
Why choose JAG Coaching?
Support that understands the full picture
With 20+ years of medical experience, Jess understands how stress, burnout, and life pressure can affect far more than one area of life.
Her coaching is calm, grounded, and personal, giving you space to think clearly, feel heard, and move forward with confidence.
“I finally understood my stress and started making healthier choices daily.”
“I came to Jessica having been made redundant — a moment that was equal parts unsettling and, quietly, full of possibility. I had a creative career I cared about deeply, but no clear sense of where it was going or who I was within it. I knew I needed more than a career consultant. I needed someone who could help me think.
Working with Jessica throughout the course of the year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. What struck me immediately was the range of her approach — she could be warm and genuinely nurturing in one session, and then ask the kind of direct, searching question in the next that stopped me in my tracks. She has a real gift for asking exactly the right question at exactly the right moment — the kind that doesn’t hand you an answer, but opens up a line of thinking you hadn’t considered, and trusts you to follow it through yourself. I always left sessions having worked something out, rather than having been told what to think. This is the difference between coaching and therapy, and it’s far more empowering.
She also brought a variety of really interesting tools and tests into our work together, the results of which were genuinely illuminating — they surfaced things about how I think, what I value and where I’m at my best that I simply hadn’t been able to articulate on my own. Far from feeling like exercises, they became anchor points I kept returning to throughout the year.
The shift I experienced over the course of the year was profound. I left with a genuine confidence in my creative identity. Not the brittle kind that depends on external validation, but a quieter, more grounded certainty about what I do, why it matters, and where I want to take it.
If you’re at a crossroads — whether through redundancy, reinvention, or simply that feeling that something needs to change — I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough. She’s exceptional at what she does.
Alongside the career work, Jessica also helped me navigate some complex relationship matters over the course of the year — across different areas of my life and with very different dynamics at play. I hadn’t necessarily expected this to be part of our work together, but it turned out to be some of the most valuable.
What she did consistently, and what I found remarkable, was cut through the noise of complicated situations and help me get to the heart of what I actually wanted. Not what I thought I should want, or what was easiest, but what was true. Her questions had the same quality here as in our career sessions — careful, well-timed, and quietly powerful — and again she never steered me toward her own conclusions. She simply created the space for me to reach my own, with far more clarity than I could have managed alone.
For anyone who carries the weight of complex relationships alongside everything else life throws at you, Jessica’s ability to hold that space — with warmth, without judgement, and with real insight — is something quite rare.”
Izzie, Creative Professional.
“Jessie helped me move from survival to calm clarity”
“It is a privilege to recommend Jessie, whose guidance was instrumental during one of the most challenging professional transitions of my career.
When I stepped into my current role, I found myself navigating a demanding workload and a very different culture to my previous experiences. The pressure of these new expectations caused a significant amount of distress, affecting both my performance and my peace of mind.
Jessie has a sophisticated ability to address the practical and emotional dimensions of professional growth simultaneously. We did not just discuss “to-do lists”; we dismantled the psychological barriers that were hindering my progress.
Her most remarkable gift, however, is the environment of “calm clarity” she facilitates. Even when I came to our sessions feeling reactive or overwhelmed, Jessie had a profound way of guiding the dialogue toward a place of objectivity. She empowered me to speak about my challenges without being governed by emotion.
To anyone facing a daunting career shift or a high-pressure environment, Jessie provides the emotional scaffolding and strategic insight necessary to move from a state of survival to one of true integration and success. I am immensely grateful for her support and recommend her without reservation.”
Katie, Secondary School Teacher.

FAQ
Having spent 20+ years working with clients, we understand that every situation is unique. That being said, here are some common questions people have, prior to taking the first steps, of positive change.
What is stress management coaching?
Stress management coaching is a structured, supportive way to understand what is driving your stress and what needs to change. It helps you notice patterns, build healthier responses, and make practical shifts in how you work, live, recover, and relate to pressure.
How is this different from therapy?
Coaching is generally more future-focused and action-oriented. It looks at what is happening now, what is keeping you stuck, and what needs to change going forward. Therapy may be more appropriate when deeper healing, trauma work, or mental health treatment is needed.
Can stress affect me physically?
It can show up physically as well as mentally. People often notice sleep problems, headaches, muscle tension, palpitations, digestive issues, fatigue, or feeling constantly wired. Persistent, worsening, or severe symptoms should always be checked medically as well.
How long does burnout recovery take?
That varies a lot. Some people improve with early intervention and meaningful change. For others, recovery can take months. One of the key messages behind this service is that it is far better to address the patterns early than wait until recovery becomes much harder.
Can Jess diagnose me or sign me off work?
No. This is not a diagnostic or GP service, and it is not the place for fit notes, medical sign-off, or formal treatment. If those things are needed, you would need to speak to your own GP or another appropriate professional.
What if I’m not sure whether coaching is right for me?
That is exactly what the discovery call is for. It gives you a chance to talk through what is going on, ask questions, and get a feel for whether Jess’s approach feels right for you.
